![]() ![]() I set it up as a new computer instead of a backup/restore of my old laptop. This all started once I got the new MacBook Air. I also feel like this shouldn't be needed for the fix since it was a suggestion that had no responses whenever it was posted. I've not gone through with the "reset all settings" option yet as it isn't clear what this will do, and I don't have time this week to spend on fixing an unknown number of settings. ![]() I've also verified that iMessage is enabled under my phone's iCloud settings, and that my Mac iMessage settings are configured to use iCloud for iMessage as well. This did a whole lot of nothing to resolve the issue. ![]() Sign back into iMessage on the Mac (at this point my phone gave me a prompt that my Apple ID and phone number were being used on another device for iMessage).Sign out of iMessage on both the iPhone and Mac.The process I read works is the following: So I've gone through various troubleshooting steps on this and the option for text message forwarding is still not showing up on my phone. ![]()
